This compilation series must be very important for Jan from Capeet Records and Taub!-zine,
as he's going already in the sixth sequel. This time it's 34 songs by 19 bands (Mastic Scum,
Crastavci, Depressor, B.Damage, Imbalance, Pre$ident's Choice, Eradicate, New York Against
The Belzebu, @patia-no, Nineday Wonder, N.O.Y.F.B., Hated Principles, Crunch, Salacious
Crumb, Enemy Of The Species, Scum Brigade, Störsender, Distrust Is Abuse and Sang
Froid) from many different countries (Austria, Slovenia, USA, Macedonia, england, Scotland,
Brazil, Venezuela, Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Malaysia and Singapore). So much for the
statistics. The musical direction is all kinds of core: crust core, grind core, noise core,
even normal hard core. There are some really cool bands like the Austrian grind gods from
Mastic Scum or the USA-noisies Depressor, but a band like NYATB who play 9 songs (including
a coverversion by Napalm Death) in less than 3 minutes is not my cup of tea. Nonetheless
the overall quality of the compilation is quite high (higher than at Vol. V), and for the
first time the tape comes with a 20-page-booklet. Costs 6 DM or 4 US$ (incl. postage). Get
