East coast old school death metal is getting again more attention, as Goteborg death
is steadily moving toward normal heavy metal. Immured from Nuremberg/Germany are one
of those bands that thrash their 10 songs in half an hour on tape, and these guys
surely know no mercy. The songs are quite fast, though not really overspeeded, and
it's above all the very growling vocals that give Immured their trademark. As a special
bonus, Jason from Dying Fetus - maybe the most important death metal band from the US -
is singing some backing vocals on one of the songs. Of course you won't find the big
hit song on this tape, but the professional production and the handsome layout
distinguish this release from a lot of different, more mediocre products. If you
like bands like Dying Fetus or Scattered Remnants, you surely will get your pleasure
