Although Hypnos are still a quite young Czech Death Metal band, all members have already a past in that kind of music. They all used to be part of Krabathor, surely the most famous Death Metal band from the Czech Republic. So there are no big musical differences between both bands as all are playing a fast and crude kind of Death Metal. On their self-titled debut EP, Hypnos showed already that they had chosen this part, and 'In Blood We Trust' is nothing else but the logical consequence. A guest singer on this CD is Mika from Impaled Nazarene. He and Bruno are sharing the vocals as one has a higher voice and the other a lower one to put more diversification into the music. This album is suited for everybody who likes harshly played Death Metal, combined with technical hooks and an enormous instrumentation. The cover artwork and the lyrics (song titles like 'Burn The Angels Down' 'Sarcilegious') also show you that Hypnos are no friends of church and religion. |
