FIT OF ANGER
Fit Of Anger

In the late eighties, Fit Of Anger had been quite popular in the American underground Hardcore scene. Although they had been touring with some legendary acts (Yuppicide, Hatebreed, Crown Of Thorns,...), it wasn't enough to give them a record deal and they only released two demo tapes before they finally split up.
But band founder Grandpa [what a strange name] can't live without music and still enjoys playing Hardcore music. In his opinion, releasing a CD in now much easier than about ten years ago and he re-recorded the songs from the two demo tapes with a different band line-up. The result on this CD are 8 quite short, but most of the times fast straight forward going songs. You could also call it timeless Hardcore. Definitely Old School, but Grandpa thinks that the songs have been spiced up during the years. As I'm not familiar with the original versions, I say that he may be right. Comparing both versions surely would be an interesting experience, but I think that the new versions are nevertheless an interesting look at an institution of American Hardcore. I just hope that he album will be sold at a mid-price as it's only lasting a bit more than 20 minutes.
