 Over ten years ago, one of the first Century Media compilations was called 'In The Eyes Of Death' and featured then newcomers like Tiamat, Unleashed, Grave or Asphyx. Now the label thinks that it's time again to present some newcomers and hopes that they will also make their may in the metal world. Here's a tracklist of all presented artists:

What all bands have in common is that they play an extreme kind of Metal, if it's Black, Death or Thrash. Most songs will be released in early 2001, some will stay unreleased bonus tracks (2, 8, 16). The song by Runemagick is a cover version of a Tiamat song.

'In The Eyes Of Death II' is an excellent label compilation and gives an interesting overview of extreme Metal. I just hope that the label will be so fair and sell it at a low or mid price.
