Not bad, not bad ! Darkfall are presenting their second demo tape, and those six guys from
Austria know how to melt different styles of metal into one homogenous entity. The result can
best be described as melodic gothic death metal with epic keyboard sounds. It may be a problem
for the band that their music isn't really original and new. On the one hand, they are gifted
musicians and they are at the pulse of time, but on the other hand, when your music is 'trendy'
(a nasty word in fact), then the competition is very big and you have to be something special
to be noticed by the people. Let's not be too pessimistic, because 'Dimensions Beyond' contains
four really cool metal songs, and bands that have Lightning Beat Man in their thanx-list are
always on the sunny side of life. You can get this demo on tape or on CD at the following
