Kevin Moore is one of the most famous and legendary Rock keyboarders worldwide. Many people were astonished when he left Dream Theatre to follow new musical directions. In 1998, he surprised with an excellent debut album of his new formation Chroma Key. On 'Dead Air For Radios', he got support from musicians like Mark Zonder and Joey Vera. The result was a masterpiece of electronic music which was sounding very calm. Two years later, Chroma Key have released a second album called 'You Go Now' which can even top the musical qualities of its predecessor. This time Kevin Moore is playing all instruments and vocals by himself, only a certain David Iscove is responsible for the guitar play. The songs on this CD are even more quiet than they had been before. This is an excellent progressive but relax and calming sounding CD, with slight element of Triphop. Songs like 'Get Back In The Car' or 'When You Drive' (with spoken words) go under the skin. This is actually one of my favourite CDs. |
